Bottom-ranked Spartak Noginsk (0-9) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to eighth ranked Enisey Krasnoyarsk (4-5) 78-61 on Sunday evening. Enisey Krasnoyarsk had a 38-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Canadian center Saicha Grant-Allen (196-95, college: Dayton) scored 8 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Adelina Abaiburova (185-95, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Enisey Krasnoyarsk players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international Veronika Martirosyan (188-91, agency: LBM Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and guard Raisa Andrianova (175-89, agency: LBM Management) scored 7 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Enisey Krasnoyarsk moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Dynamo NR and Nika. Loser Spartak Noginsk still closes the standings with nine games lost. Enisey Krasnoyarsk will face higher ranked MBA (#4) in Moscow in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Spartak Noginsk will play on the road against Nadezhda Orenburg (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
