A very interesting game took place in Tobolsk. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 9th ranked Neftekhimik T. (3-8) to seventh ranked Rusichi K. (5-7) 90-87 on Tuesday evening. Rusichi K. made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Aleksey Makarov (192-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists. Center Ilya Luppo (205-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Aleksandr Kalenov (196-87) answered with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Taras Klyundikov (190-95) added 18 points and 4 assists in the effort for Neftekhimik T.Four Neftekhimik T. players scored in double figures. Neftekhimik T.'s coach Dmitriy Tarakanov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rusichi K. moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Dynamo STV and Chelbasket. Neftekhimik T. lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Rusichi K.'s next round opponent will be higher ranked Dynamo-MGTU (#4) in Maykop and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Neftekhimik T. will play on the road against BARS-RGEU (#10) in Rostov and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
