Very important is a home loss of second ranked Khimki-2 (16-7) against eighth ranked Parma-2 (12-10) on Saturday night. Host Khimki-2 was defeated by Parma-2 in a tough game in Khimki 87-96. Parma-2 forced 23 Khimki-2 turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Aleksandr Kurov (204-0) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Kirill Budin (181-1) who added 19 points and 5 assists during the contest. Forward Vladislav Odinokov (203-0) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and guard Nikita Lashkov (185-0) scored 12 points and 9 assists. Five Parma-2 and four Khimki-2 players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Parma-2 have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Khimki-2 at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Parma-2 will play against Samara-2 (#9) at home in the next round. Khimki-2 will play against Avtodor-2 (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
