The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Atomeromu as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Atomeromu defeated 12th ranked ZTE KK in Paks 83-75. Worth to mention a great performance of international power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91) who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Winston Shepard (203-93, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) who added 14 points during the contest. American point guard Tyreek Duren (183-91, college: La Salle) responded with 17 points and 6 assists and Croatian forward Tonko Vuko (203-94, college: Pacific) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Szedeak. ZTE KK lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Kaposvari. ZTE KK will play next round against strong Szolnok trying to get back on the winning streak. Atomeromu will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
