Leader Szedeak delivered the eleventh victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Alba (8-4) 87-78 in Szekesfehervar. Szedeak looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) stepped up and scored 28 points and 8 assists for the winners and Serbian center Djordje Dzeletovic (204-93, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Esa Ahmad (203-96, college: WVU) with 22 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import point guard Frank Turner (178-88, college: Canisius, agency: Inception Sports) scored 11 points and 8 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Szedeak (11-5) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Despite that victory Szedeak went down to second position due to points difference. Loser Alba dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. Szedeak will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Alba will play against OSE Lions (#10) and hope to secure a win.
