Regular Season Round 15: E.N. Paralimni - AEK Larnaca 73-77

An interesting game for AEK Larnaca (11-3) which played road game in Paralimni against 4th placed E.N. Paralimni (8-5). Third ranked AEK Larnaca managed to get a 4-point victory 77-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of E.N. Paralimni. E.N. Paralimni was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. It was a good game for American forward DeJon Davis (201-98, college: CBU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Canadian-Nigerian forward Derek Ogbeide (203-97, college: Georgia) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. American swingman Dalan Ancrum (198-96, college: W.Illinois) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import Titus Robinson (201-90, college: Buffalo) added 17 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for E.N. Paralimni. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. AEK Larnaca have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. E.N. Paralimni at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. AEK Larnaca are looking forward to face Apollon (#3) in Limassol in the next round, which may be the game of the day. E.N. Paralimni will play on the road against the league's leader Keravnos in Strovolos and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
