Regular Season Round 18: Spartak SP - Dynamo-Farm 59-62

A very close game took place in Sankt Petersburg between Dynamo-Farm and Spartak SP. Ninth ranked Dynamo-Farm (7-9) got a very close victory on the road over 8th ranked Spartak SP (7-9). Dynamo-Farm managed to escape with a 3-point win 62-59 in the game for the eighth place. Dynamo-Farm dominated down low during the game scoring 36 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak SP's 14. Forward Anastasiia Kosu (183-5) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Vitalina Zvereva (190-0, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 13 points. Dynamo-Farm's coach Momir Tasic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 24 points by point guard Elena Melnikova (175-88) did not help to save the game for Spartak SP. Forward Darya Silanova (182-2) added 12 points and 5 rebounds. Dynamo-Farm have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with defeated Spartak SP. Spartak SP lost third consecutive game. Dynamo-Farm will meet higher ranked Chevakata (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Spartak SP will play against Sparta&K-2 V and hope to secure a win.
