Very important is a road loss of third ranked Atomeromu (10-5) against eleventh ranked KTE-Duna (5-7) on Saturday night. Visiting Atomeromu was edged by KTE-Duna in a tough game in Kecskemet 72-75. KTE-Duna looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Cleveland Thomas (192-93, college: WKU, agency: Slash Sports) notched 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and the former international center Kemal Karahodzic (210-89) supported him with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Even 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward Winston Shepard (203-93, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) did not help to save the game for Atomeromu. Guard Akos Kovacs (183-88) added 14 points and 8 assists for lost side. Four KTE-Duna and five Atomeromu players scored in double figures. KTE-Duna moved-up to tenth place. Loser Atomeromu keeps the third position with five games lost. They share it with Kormend. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
