Everything could happen in Budapest at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked BEAC-Ujbuda and 11th ranked PINKK-Pecsi had identical 2-14 record. This time BEAC-Ujbuda used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Pecs 87-71 on Saturday night. It was a good game for American forward Janae Smith (188-92, college: UAB) who led her team to a victory with 26 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import guard Ieshia Small (183-94, college: Maryland) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Four BEAC-Ujbuda players scored in double figures. Lithuanian center Daugile Sarauskaite (196-96) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 17 rebounds and 6 blocks and American point guard Leslie Vorpahl (168-95, college: Tulane) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for PINKK-Pecsi. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. BEAC-Ujbuda maintains tenth position with 3-14 record. PINKK-Pecsi lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
