Regular Season Round 16: Keravnos - E.N. Paralimni 85-60

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Keravnos as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Keravnos smashed 4th ranked E.N. Paralimni in Strovolos 85-60. The game without a history. Keravnos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to E.N. Paralimni's 26. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Ahmaad Rorie (184-95, college: Montana) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Andre Williamson (203-89, college: App State) who added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Five Keravnos players scored in double figures. At the losing side Titus Robinson (201-90, college: Buffalo) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Jazzmarr Ferguson (185-89, college: IU Southeast) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Keravnos (12-2) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. E.N. Paralimni at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Just two games before the end of Regular Season and it may be the most important game of the season next round when E.N. Paralimni faces Apoel trying to get back on the winning streak. Keravnos will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Apollon in Limassol.
