OPAP Basket League round 18 caused change at the leadership position. Fourth defeat of league's leader AEK Larnaca (12-4) against second ranked Keravnos (13-3) 83-74 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of AEK Larnaca. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Keravnos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 4 assists. Point guard Ahmaad Rorie (184-95, college: Montana) contributed with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Quentin Snider (188-95, college: Louisville, agency: GoEmpire Group) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists and forward DeJon Davis (201-98, college: CBU) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for AEK Larnaca. Four Keravnos and five AEK Larnaca players scored in double figures. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. AEK Larnaca at the other side dropped to the second place with four games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Keravnos. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
