There was no surprise in Perm where 11th ranked Unics-2 (8-24) was crushed by eighth ranked Parma-2 (15-15) 86-64 on Thursday. Parma-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Unics-2's 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward Aleksandr Kurov (204-0) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Kirill Budin (181-1) chipped in 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Serafim Koroteev (190-0) produced 11 points and 6 assists and forward Ivan Tarasenko (205-0) added 4 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Parma-2 maintains eighth position with 15-15 record. Loser Unics-2 keeps the eleventh place with 24 games lost. Parma-2 will face higher ranked N.Novgorod-2 (#4) in Nizhny Novgorod in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
