We should mention about the upset which took place in Perm, where 8th ranked Parma-2 (15-15) lost at home to eleventh ranked Unics-2 (8-24) 74-91 on Friday. Unics-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Parma-2's 24 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Parma-2 43-25 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Unics-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Parma-2's players. Forward Konstantin Ekimov (205-0, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward Ilya Karpenko (199-1) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Unics-2 players scored in double figures. Guard Vadim Bondarenko (193-0) produced 14 points and 4 assists and guard Yaroslav Zaporozhets (184-2) added 13 points respectively for lost side.
