PBL top team - UMMC (15-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Enisey Krasnoyarsk (6-9) 105-66. UMMC dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Enisey Krasnoyarsk's 30 and made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. UMMC forced 26 Enisey Krasnoyarsk turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Enisey Krasnoyarsk's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of Hungarian-American guard Allie Quigley (178-86, college: DePaul) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Belgian center Emma Meesseman (192-93, agency: LBM Management) who added 23 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four UMMC players scored in double figures. At the losing side international forward Adelina Abaiburova (185-95, agency: LBM Management) responded with 13 points and Canadian center Saicha Grant-Allen (196-95, college: Dayton) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. Enisey Krasnoyarsk's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. UMMC have an impressive 15-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 15-0 record. Enisey Krasnoyarsk at the other side dropped to the seventh place with nine games lost. UMMC are looking forward to face Spartak Vidnoye (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Enisey Krasnoyarsk will play against Nadezhda Orenburg and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
