Undefeated leader UMMC delivered the sixteenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked Spartak Vidnoye (6-10) 104-48 in Yekaterinburg. UMMC dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak Vidnoye's 18. UMMC forced 20 Spartak Vidnoye turnovers and outrebounded them 50-18 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Spartak Vidnoye's players. Bahamas-Bosnian center Jonquel Jones (198-94, college: GWU) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Belgian center Emma Meesseman (192-93, agency: LBM Management) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Five UMMC players scored in double figures. International point guard Xeniya Levchenko (167-96) came up with 12 points and power forward Valentina Kozhukhar (188-99) added 6 points respectively for Spartak Vidnoye in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. UMMC (16-0) have an impressive series of sixteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 16 victories in a row. Spartak Vidnoye at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. UMMC's next round opponent will be Nadezhda Orenburg (#3) on the road, which may be the game of the day.
