The most exciting game of round 4 in the OPAP Basket League took place in Nicosia. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th ranked Omonia (8-12) to fifth ranked Apoel (11-9) 88-86 on Wednesday evening. Apoel forced 19 Omonia turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by Omonia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Landen Lucas (208-93, college: Kansas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds and guard Davion Berry (193-91, college: Weber St.) who added 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Jordan Jacks (196-94, college: KWC) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists and power forward Stokley Chaffee (204-96, college: Tennessee St.) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Five Apoel and four Omonia players scored in double figures. Apoel have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Apollon. Omonia lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 12 games lost.
