Very important is a road loss of third ranked Khimki-2 (26-17) against seventh ranked Parma-2 (22-19) on Wednesday night. Visiting Khimki-2 was defeated by Parma-2 in a tough game in Perm 83-88. Parma-2 players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Aleksandr Kurov (204-0) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Arseniy Semenov (199-0, college: W.Texas CC) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Daniil Glazov (191-1) answered with 20 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Armenian forward Alexey Chizhenok (198-1) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Khimki-2. Four Khimki-2 players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Parma-2 maintains seventh place with 22-19 record. Khimki-2 at the other side keeps the third position with 17 games lost. Parma-2 will again play against higher ranked Khimki-2 (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Khimki-2 will have a break next round.
