The biggest surprise took place in Kuesnacht-Erlenbach where host Wallabies (5-0) beat league's leader Swiss Central (4-1) 80-69 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Swiss Central. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Wallabies forced 25 Swiss Central turnovers and outrebounded them 42-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Isaiah Ellis (203-95, college: Chico St., agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 19 rebounds. Bosnian point guard Bojan Sekicki (188-87) chipped in 22 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Jermale Jones (186-86, college: Tuskegee) produced 27 points and 7 steals and naturalized Belgian center Stan Leemans (205-92, agency: Promotex) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Swiss Central's coach Orlando Baer rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Wallabies have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Swiss Central at the other side dropped to the third place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Wallabies. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
