Very expected game when 10th ranked Alba (2-4) was edged by fifth ranked KTE-Duna (4-2) in Szekesfehervar 93-91 on Friday. KTE-Duna shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. The former international center Kemal Karahodzic (210-89) notched 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and American guard Xavier Pollard (193-91, college: Kent St.) supported him with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Even 27 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists by international swingman David Vojvoda (195-90) did not help to save the game for Alba. International point guard Marcell Pongo (194-97, agency: Octagon Europe) added 22 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
