Regular Season Round 6: Atomeromu - ZTE KK 72-80

There was a minor upset when higher ranked Atomeromu (2-4) lost to thirteenth ranked ZTE KK (2-4) in Paks 72-80 on Saturday. American point guard Derrick Wilson (185-92, college: Marquette, agency: Network Sports International) notched 19 points to lead the effort and the other American import guard Carlton Guyton (193-90, college: Kent St.) supported him with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four ZTE KK players scored in double figures. ZTE KK's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists by American point guard Ken Brown (180-89, college: Philander Smith, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Atomeromu. The former international power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91) added 15 points and 8 rebounds. ZTE KK moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Atomeromu. ZTE KK will meet at home league's leader Szombathely in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Atomeromu will play against OSE Lions (#6) in Oraszlany and hope to secure a win.
