Regular Season Round 4: ENAD - Anagennises 57-63

Division A round 4 most important game was a victory of Anagennises over one of their biggest challengers ENAD 63-57 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ENAD. ENAD trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 18-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 57-63 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Cassidy Mihalko (180-95, college: CBU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. Mezra Torlak (172-2) contributed with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Anagennises' coach Iraklis Pittakas used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Filipino guard Gabi Bade (173-96, college: Sacramento St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Popi Frageskou (172-87) added 6 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for ENAD. Anagennises have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 3-1 record behind leader Anorthosis. ENAD at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with AEL. Anagennises are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Zinonas (#6) in the next round. ENAD will play against the league's leader Anorthosis in Larnaca and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
