The game in Khimki was also worth to mention about. 4th ranked Unics-2 (5-3) played at the court of fifth ranked Khimki-2 (5-1). Khimki-2 managed to secure a 7-point victory 69-62. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-10. But Unics-2 won third quarter 19-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Center Arkadii Polischuk (202-3) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 6 rebounds. Center Ivan Potezhnyi (208-2) contributed with 9 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Sergey Polstyanov (194-2) replied with 10 points and 4 assists and guard Alexey Pavlov (194-1) added 11 points in the effort for Unics-2. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Khimki-2 moved-up to third place, which they share with Zenit-2. Unics-2 lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Khimki-2 will play against N.Novgorod-2 (#11) in Nizhny Novgorod in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Unics-2 will play on the road against Parma-2 (#9) in Perm and hopes to get back on the winning track.
