Regular Season Round 6: E.N. Paralimni - Keravnos 91-89

The most exciting game of round 6 in the OPAP Basket League took place in Paralimni. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 3rd ranked Keravnos (4-2) to top-ranked E.N. Paralimni (6-0) 91-89 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Keravnos. Keravnos was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 6-point lead after three quarters before a 21-15 charge of E.N. Paralimni, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Ghanian-American guard Milan Acquaah (190-97, college: CBU) who scored 34 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 8 assists. American power forward DeAndre Dickson (206-92, college: WWU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Collin Malcolm (200-97, college: WPU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Deondre Burns (190-97, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) added 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. E.N. Paralimni have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with AEK Larnaca. Keravnos at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Apoel. E.N. Paralimni is looking forward to face league's leader AEK Larnaca on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Keravnos will play against Etha and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
