The game in Lipetsk was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Dynamo-MGTU (5-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Mitsu B. (2-7). Dynamo-MGTU managed to secure a 9-point victory 89-80 on Wednesday. Dynamo-MGTU forced 21 Mitsu B. turnovers. Strangely Mitsu B. outrebounded Dynamo-MGTU 44-30 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Pavel Sizov (200-95) who scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Ilia Aleksandrov (194-81) chipped in 19 points. Five Dynamo-MGTU players scored in double figures. Dynamo-MGTU's coach Andrei Sinielnikov used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was center Vladimir Lidyaev (202-87) who recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Pavel Krykov (210-84) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Dynamo-MGTU moved-up to third place, which they share with Rusichi K. Loser Mitsu B. keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Dynamo STV and Novomoskovsk. Dynamo-MGTU will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Mitsu B. will play again against Dynamo-MGTU (#3) and hope to secure a win.
