Important game to mention about took place in Sopron. Third ranked KTE-Duna (7-3) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 12th ranked Sopron KC (3-7) 75-72 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Serbian swingman Andreja Milutinovic (199-90, agency: 011 Sports) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international point guard Krisztian Wittmann (185-85) supported him with 15 points and 7 assists. Even a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds by American forward Quincy Ford (203-93, college: Northeastern) did not help to save the game for Sopron KC. His fellow American import power forward EJ Montgomery (208-99, college: Kentucky) added 11 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Sopron KC's coach Branislav Dzunic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. KTE-Duna maintains third position with 7-3 record having five points less than leader Szombathely. Sopron KC lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with seven games lost. KTE-Duna will play against league's leader Szombathely at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sopron KC will play against Kormend (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
