Very significant was Anagennises' (#2, 6-2) victory against 4th ranked ENAD (4-4) 67-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ENAD. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 40-21 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Anagennises forced 20 ENAD turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Cassidy Mihalko (180-95, college: CBU) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and naturalized Bulgarian power forward Styliana Velinova (192-0) who added 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. American-Filipino guard Gabi Bade (173-96, college: Sacramento St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and forward Athina Papagianni (176-95) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. Anagennises maintains second position with 6-2 record behind leader Anorthosis, which they share with AEL. ENAD at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Anagennises is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Zinonas (#6) in the next round. ENAD will play against the league's leader Anorthosis and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
