There was a small surprise in Szigetszentmiklos where eleventh ranked BKG Prima (2-9) defeated 9th ranked Ujbuda (3-7) 70-66 on Sunday. American forward Sierra Campisano (190-97, college: Cal Poly, agency: LBM Management) scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and Cuban point guard Laura Aldazabal (192-95) chipped in 7 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international guard Timea Czank (177-86) responded with 9 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Bulgarian point guard Gergana Ivanova (177-99) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Ujbuda's coach Judith Balogh rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted BKG Prima maintains eleventh position with 2-9 record. Loser Ujbuda keeps the ninth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Vasas Akademia. BKG Prima will meet at home higher ranked Vasas Akademia (#9) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ujbuda's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Budapest TFSE-MTK.
