Regular Season Round 16: Rusichi K. - Dynamo-MGTU 115-88

The most important game in the last round took place in Kursk between third ranked Dynamo-MGTU (9-7) and fifth ranked Rusichi K. (8-4) on Sunday night. Dynamo-MGTU was crushed by Rusichi K. on the road 115-88. Rusichi K. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Dynamo-MGTU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Belarusian guard Ivan Aladko (193-95) fired 27 points and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Yaroslav Strigeus (199-0) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Five Rusichi K. players scored in double figures. Center Yuriy Kochnev (209-89) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Artem Gaposhin (185-91) added 20 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rusichi K. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cheb.Yastreby. Dynamo-MGTU at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. Rusichi K. is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Dynamo STV (#11) in Stavropol in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dynamo-MGTU will play on the road against Novomoskovsk (#8) in Tula and is hoping to win this game.
