Not a big story in a game in Strovolos where 8th ranked Achilleas K. (4-7) was rolled over by third ranked Keravnos (8-2) 90-51 on Friday. The game without a history. Keravnos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Achilleas K. to just 3 points in fourth quarter. Keravnos dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Achilleas K.'s 26. They outrebounded Achilleas K. 42-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Keravnos have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 8-2 record behind leader AEK Larnaca. Newly promoted Achilleas K. dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. Keravnos will meet at home Apollon (#7) in the next round. Achilleas K. will play against the league's leader AEK Larnaca and hope to secure a win.
