Very important is a road loss of third ranked KTE-Duna (7-5) against fifth ranked Kormend (6-6) on Saturday night. Visiting KTE-Duna was crushed by Kormend in Kormend 105-78. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to KTE-Duna's 28. Kormend looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by American power forward Wesley Gordon (206-94, college: Colorado) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and the other American import point guard Kamau Stokes (183-95, college: Kansas St.) supported him with 13 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Stokes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Kormend players scored in double figures. Even 21 points and 7 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) by Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (208-86) did not help to save the game for KTE-Duna. Serbian swingman Andreja Milutinovic (199-90, agency: 011 Sports) added 21 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kormend moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. KTE-Duna at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. Kormend will meet at home Kaposvari (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KTE-Duna will play against DEAC (#7) and hope to secure a win.
