There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Spartak Vidnoye (5-6) crushed on the road 6th ranked Enisey Krasnoyarsk (5-6) 87-53 on Saturday. Spartak Vidnoye forced 20 Enisey Krasnoyarsk turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. Spartak Vidnoye looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Enisey Krasnoyarsk's players. It was an exceptional evening for international Daria Repnikova (180-0) who led the winners and scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Unique Thompson (190-99, college: Auburn, agency: Shark Sports Management) accounted for 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Spartak Vidnoye players scored in double figures. American forward NDea Jones (188-99, college: Texas A&M) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and center Anna Pachurina (195-95) added 9 points respectively for Enisey Krasnoyarsk in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Spartak Vidnoye. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Nadezhda O. and Enisey. Spartak Vidnoye will meet Nadezhda Orenburg (#6) on the road in the next round. Enisey Krasnoyarsk will play against Dynamo NR in Novosibirsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
