Regular Season Round 23: Parma-2 - Khimki-2 77-75

There was a surprise result in Perm where ninth ranked Parma-2 (9-14) edged 4th placed Khimki-2 (16-7) 77-75 on Saturday. Parma-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Vladislav Perevalov (190-1) who scored 34 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. Power forward Danil Plugarev (203-2) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Maximilian Blank (-2) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists and Armenian forward Alexey Chizhenok (200-1) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Parma-2 moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Avtodor-2. Khimki-2 at the other side dropped to the third position with seven games lost. Parma-2 will meet league's second-placed Zenit-2 in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Khimki-2 will play against Lokomotiv-2 in Krasnodar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
