The former international forward Zsolt Szabo (204-86) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Alba's coach Matthias Zollner used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. International center Akos Keller (208-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and international swingman Szilard Benke (197-95) added 24 points in the effort for Szombathely.
