Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Atomeromu (5-10) was outscored on the road by second ranked Szolnok (12-3) 84-63 on Thursday. Szolnok looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Atomeromu's players. It was an exceptional evening for Dominican guard Gelvis Solano (185-94, college: Merrimack, agency: BMS Sport Agency) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 6 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Montenegrin forward Bojan Subotic (203-90) accounted for 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Deshon Taylor (188-96, college: Fresno St.) came up with 13 points and the other American import point guard Ken Brown (180-89, college: Philander Smith, agency: BIG) added 14 points respectively for Atomeromu in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Szolnok maintains second place with 12-3 record having just one point less than leader Szombathely. Loser Atomeromu dropped to the thirteenth position with ten games lost. Szolnok will meet at home league's leader Szombathely in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Atomeromu will play against Sopron KC (#7) and hope to secure a win.
