The game in Budapest supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Atomeromu (14-1) played at the court of 7th ranked TFSE-MTK (6-9). Atomeromu smashed TFSE-MTK 97-70. Atomeromu dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to TFSE-MTK's 30 and made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded TFSE-MTK 41-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. Atomeromu players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Cyesha Goree (191-93, college: Michigan) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Melinda Miklos (180-3) who added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Atomeromu's coach Zeljko Djokic felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Romanian power forward Elisabeth Pavel (190-90) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and guard Panka Dul (179-0) scored 13 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Atomeromu have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-1 record behind leader Sopron. TFSE-MTK at the other side keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. They share the position with Ujbuda. Atomeromu will play against Csata (#6) in Budapest in the next round. TFSE-MTK will play on the road against PINKK-Pecsi and hopes to get back on the winning track.
