Bottom-ranked ZTE KK managed to get a third victory, breaking the nine-game losing streak. This time they won against sixth-ranked Duna Aszfalt in Zalaegerszeg 77-68. The winners were led by American point guard Derrick Wilson (185-92, college: Marquette, agency: Network Sports International) who scored that evening 20 points and 4 assists and the other American import forward Jordan Barnett (201-95, college: Missouri) supported him with 18 points and 8 rebounds. ZTE KK's coach Emir Mutapcic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists by American guard Xavier Pollard (193-91, college: Kent St.) did not help to save the game for Duna Aszfalt. Serbian swingman Andreja Milutinovic (199-90, agency: 011 Sports) added 17 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Four Duna Aszfalt players scored in double figures. ZTE KK maintains fourteenth position with 3-13 record. Duna Aszfalt at the other side keeps the sixth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Alba and Kaposvari. ZTE KK will play against higher ranked OSE Lions (#12) in Oraszlany in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Duna Aszfalt will play at home against PVSK-Veolia (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
