Regular Season Round 18: Atomeromu - Kaposvari 64-81

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Kaposvari (10-8) beat 12th ranked Atomeromu (6-12) in Paks 81-64 on Saturday. Kaposvari dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Atomeromu's 28. American players dominated the game. Point guard Nimrod Hilliard IV (183-93, college: NCCU) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and Xavier Ford (203-93, college: Buffalo) supported him with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Kaposvari's coach Nikola Lazic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 21 points by guard Deshon Taylor (188-96, college: Fresno St.) did not help to save the game for Atomeromu. Point guard Ken Brown (180-89, college: Philander Smith, agency: BIG) added 15 points and 5 assists. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Kaposvari have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Kormend and DEAC. Loser Atomeromu dropped to the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. Kaposvari will meet at home league's leader Szombathely in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Atomeromu will play against ZTE KK (#14) in Zalaegerszeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
