Regular Season Round 28: Rusichi K. - Cheb.Yastreby 83-82

The most exciting game of round 28 in the Superleague 2 took place in Kursk. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked Cheb.Yastreby (18-6) to fourth ranked Rusichi K. (15-11) 83-82 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Cheb.Yastreby. The former international forward Konstantyn Glazyrin (202-88, agency: Alti Sport) fired 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Belarusian guard Ivan Aladko (193-95) chipped in 14 points and 8 assists. Center Sergey Gulkov (201-95) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and forward Pavel Novikov (192-96) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Five Rusichi K. and four Cheb.Yastreby players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Rusichi K. maintains fourth position with 15-11 record. Cheb.Yastreby at the other side dropped to the third place with six games lost. Rusichi K. are looking forward to face BARS-RGEU (#5) in Rostov in the next round. Cheb.Yastreby will play on the road against Novomoskovsk in Tula and is hoping to win this game.
