Regular Season Round 20: Atomeromu - OSE Lions 73-82

There was no surprise in Paks where 13th ranked Atomeromu (6-14) was defeated by ninth ranked OSE Lions (9-11) 82-73 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Bulgarian forward Yordan Minchev (202-98) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Slovakian point guard Mario Ihring (192-98, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 10 points and 11 assists during the contest. Four OSE Lions players scored in double figures. OSE Lions' coach Sebastjan Krasovec used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Croatian Mislav Brzoja (198-94, college: Evansville, agency: PEPI SPORT) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and guard Akos Kovacs (183-88) scored 18 points. OSE Lions have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Szedeak and Duna Aszfalt. Atomeromu lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. OSE Lions will meet at home league's leader Szombathely in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Atomeromu will play against Szedeak (#9) in Szeged and hope to secure a win.
