Regular Season Round 15: E.N. Paralimni - ENAD 82-54

Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked E.N. Paralimni (9-6) outscored at home bottom-ranked ENAD (1-13) 82-54 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by E.N. Paralimni. ENAD managed to win fourth quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ENAD to just 4 points in first quarter. E.N. Paralimni looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Austin Burgett (206-93, college: Notre Dame) who scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Eric McClellan (193-93, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. E.N. Paralimni's coach Iezekel Papadopoulos felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Christos Panayiotou (197-91) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and guard George Frageskou (182-90) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively. E.N. Paralimni moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Omonia. ENAD lost their eighth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. E.N. Paralimni will meet higher ranked Keravnos (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ENAD will play against Etha (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
