The game between closely ranked teams ended with 12th ranked ENAD's (1-14) home loss to eleventh ranked Etha (5-11) 59-75 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 37-18 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Johnathan Hudson (180-87, college: Texas A&M) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds, 15 assists and 4 steals and the other American import guard Wesley Harris (203-97, college: Tennessee St.) who added 24 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Etha's coach Dimitrios Koukouris used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Alexandros Panagides responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds and guard George Frageskou (182-90) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Five ENAD players scored in double figures. Etha moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Achilleas K. ENAD lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Etha will meet at home higher ranked Keravnos (#3) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. ENAD's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Nicosia to the arena Omonia.
