The most exciting game of round 17 in the SBL took place in Neuchatel. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Massagno (12-3) to third ranked Neuchatel (10-6) 78-77 on Wednesday evening. The former international guard Selim Fofana (193-99) stepped up and scored 20 points and 8 assists for the winners and naturalized Dominican point guard Bryan Colon (181-92) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists. Four Neuchatel players scored in double figures. Serbian center Uros Nikolic (204-87) responded with 24 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks and the former international Marko Mladjan (205-93) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Neuchatel maintains third place with 10-6 record having five points less than leader Fribourg. Massagno at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Neuchatel are looking forward to face Lugano (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Massagno will play against Swiss Central (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
