Everything went according to plan when third ranked Neuchatel (11-6) beat on the road 9th ranked Lugano (4-13) 80-75 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Selim Fofana (193-99) who scored 18 points and 4 assists. International forward Killian Martin (204-98) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. Four Neuchatel players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Tony Criswell (205-91, college: Missouri) who recorded 32 points and 5 assists and Grenadian center Arkim Robertson (208-94, college: CS Fullerton) added 18 points and 15 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively. Neuchatel have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 11-6 record having five points less than leader Fribourg. Lugano at the other side keeps the ninth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Monthey. Neuchatel will meet at home Boncourt (#6) in the next round. Lugano will play against Monthey and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
