Rather expected game in Strovolos where 5th ranked Omonia (10-8) was defeated by third ranked Keravnos (14-3) 77-72. Omonia was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 21-9 third quarter run of Keravnos. American forward Collin Malcolm (200-97, college: WPU) notched a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and guard Deondre Burns (190-97, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) supported him with 25 points and 5 assists. Malcolm is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 21 points and 5 assists by Irish guard Sean Flood (188-96, college: Longwood) did not help to save the game for Omonia.
