The game in Budapest supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Uni Gyor (13-5) played at the court of 7th ranked Ujbuda (7-12). Uni Gyor smashed Ujbuda 79-58. They outrebounded Ujbuda 45-24 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovakian forward Sabina Oroszova (190-1993, college: EIU, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Beatrice Mompremier (193-1996, college: Miami, FL) who added 10 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Five Uni Gyor players scored in double figures. Uni Gyor's coach Dalma Ivanyi felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Timea Czank (177-1986) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and guard Julia Boros (175-2002) scored 14 points. Uni Gyor maintains third position with 13-5 record having four points less than leader Sopron. Ujbuda at the other side dropped to the ninth place with 12 games lost. Uni Gyor will play against PEAC (#4) in Pecs in the next round. Ujbuda's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Budapest to the arena Vasas Akademia.
