No shocking result in a game when second ranked Neftyanik (21-9) crushed bottom-ranked Dynamo-En.IVA (3-27) in Omsk 92-58 on Sunday. Neftyanik forced 20 Dynamo-En.IVA turnovers and outrebounded them 40-28 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Neftyanik looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Dynamo-En.IVA's players. Power forward Elizaveta Zaytseva (188-1996) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and center Nadezhda Matrosova (185-1993) supported her with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Neftyanik's coach Elena Lazutkina felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Even 25 points and 6 rebounds by center Viktoriya Scherbakova (194-2001) did not help to save the game for Dynamo-En.IVA. Swingman Anastasya Alexeeva (181-1995) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. Neftyanik maintains second position with 21-9 record having seven points less than leader Dynamo-Farm.
