Not a big story in a game in Budapest where 8th ranked Vasas Akademia (8-12) was defeated by fourth ranked Miskolc (12-7) 66-59 on Wednesday. British forward Cheridene Green (190-1995, college: Tennessee) stepped up and scored 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners and the former international guard Veronika Kanyasi (178-1999) chipped in 14 points. The best for the losing side was Bosnian power forward Sara Heljic (193-2000) with 16 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Klaudia Papp (167-1995) scored 12 points. Vasas Akademia's coach Milos Pavlovic rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Miskolc.
