Regular Season Round 36: Dynamo-MGTU - Rusichi K. 85-77

There was a small surprise in Maykop where sixth ranked Dynamo-MGTU (19-15) defeated one of their biggest challengers Rusichi K. (18-14) 85-77 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was power forward Rostislav Karenin (204-1994) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Pavel Sizov (200-1995) chipped in 19 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Four Dynamo-MGTU players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Konstantyn Glazyrin (202-1988, agency: Alti Sport) who recorded 24 points and 8 rebounds and forward Semen Shashkov (205-1989) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively. Rusichi K.'s coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Dynamo-MGTU moved-up to fourth place. Loser Rusichi K. dropped to the fifth position with 14 games lost. They share it with BARS-RGEU and Chelbasket. Dynamo-MGTU will meet at home Novomoskovsk (#8) in the next round. Rusichi K. will play against Dynamo STV in Stavropol and hope to secure a win.
