The game in was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked E.N. Paralimni (11-8) played at the court of 7th ranked Anorthosis (8-11). E.N. Paralimni defeated Anorthosis 79-69 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 40-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American players dominated the game. The winners were led by power forward DeAndre Dickson (206-1992, college: WWU) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 29 points and 18 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and guard Eric McClellan (193-1993, college: Gonzaga) supported him with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists by guard Michael Mallory (185-1994, college: S.Connecticut, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Anorthosis. Forward Nick Banyard (203-1994, college: UCF, agency: Octagon Europe) added 16 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Five Anorthosis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. E.N. Paralimni maintains fourth position with 11-8 record. Newly promoted Anorthosis keeps the seventh place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Achilleas K.. E.N. Paralimni will meet at home APOP (#10) in the next round where they are favorite.
