Regular Season Round 23: PEAC - Atomeromu 80-69

The game between second ranked Atomeromu (19-2) and fourth ranked PEAC (15-7) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Atomeromu was defeated by PEAC in Pecs 80-69. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Atomeromu. It was a great evening for American swingman Tyaunna Marshall (175-1992, college: Georgia Tech) who led her team to a victory scoring 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Slovakian Nikola Dudasova (177-1995) helped adding 19 points. PEAC's coach Ferenc Csirke used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Agnes Studer (170-1998) responded with 15 points and 4 assists and naturalized Serbian center Sara Krnjic (191-1991) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. PEAC moved-up to third place, which they share with Uni Gyor. Atomeromu at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost.
